Written to fill a gap in the existing High Availability products JobQGenie captures the job queue content which is then stored for replication to the remote system using your High Availability solution. It is the only product which provides this functionality. Written using the latest API's the product captures job information in the most volatile of environments.
IBM has provided the ability to apply data using journal receivers for many years, with the announcement of the Remote Journal technology they added a new dimension. Using the Remote Journal Receivers you can apply the changes to your database using the IBM APYJRNCHG commands. This technology forms the basis for the HA4i product, we automate the apply of the data contained within the journal receivers using the IBM APYJRNCHG commands ensuring data integrity across receiver changes. Many new features have been added due to customer requests which now provides a full High Availability Solution at an agreeable cost.
FTP security is not built into i/OS. You can set object level security to protect your objects and data but no protection is provided against those users who have *OBJ authority. FTP Security Manager provides that extra level of protection plus logging of all user activity. Configuration settings allow you to set security at a user level without any changes required to your existing environment. FTP Security Manager ships with an embedded copy of the FTP Client described below.
The FTP Client provided by IBM within the OS is difficult to master. We developed a simple and easy to use interface providing the user with a better experience. The product is designed for use between your IBM 'i' and any other FTP server. Written entirely in C and UIM the product provides a new level of productivity for FTP transfers.
